OK ደረሰኝ is designed to protect your privacy while helping you verify bank receipts securely. We believe financial verification should be simple, transparent, and free from unnecessary data collection. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost none), how we handle it, and your rights as a user.
What We Don’t Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Your bank account details
Your transaction amounts
Your contact lists or phone numbers
Your location data
Device identifiers
Personal information unrelated to receipt verification
Internet Use
OK ደረሰኝ requires internet access only to connect with bank verification systems. We do not use cloud servers to store your receipts, nor do we share your data with third parties. Verification happens in real time and results are shown only to you
Receipt Verification
Receipts can be verified in two ways:
QR Code Scanning: Scan the QR code printed on your bank receipt.
Manual Entry: Enter the transaction reference number directly.
Verification checks authenticity against supported bank systems. Invalid or fake receipts are flagged instantly.
Subscription & Trial
You can try OK ደረሰኝ free for 3 days with full access.
After the trial, you may choose a monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscription.
If you uninstall or delete the app, your subscription resets and requires a new payme
Permissions
To function properly, OK ደረሰኝ requests the following permissions:
Camera Access: For scanning QR codes on receipts.
Internet Access: For secure verification with bank systems.
Storage (optional): For saving verification logs locally (encrypted).
We never use these permissions to collect or transmit personal dat
Your Rights
You control your data. We don’t store receipts or personal information on our servers.
You can uninstall the app at any time. No residual data remains with us, including subscription details.
We comply with global privacy principles including GDPR, CCPA, and Ethiopia’s data protection guidelines.
Security Practices
All verification requests are encrypted during transmission.
No backdoors, no vendor access, no hidden data collection.
We regularly update our libraries and security protocols to ensure maximum protection
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal changes. Updates will be clearly communicated within the app. We never introduce data collection without your explicit consent.
